Archer came into the attack for his second over and quickly claimed the prized scalp of Saim Ayub off the first delivery. Saim’s miscued shot sailed safely into the hands of the fielder in the deep, much to anguish of Pakistan fans.

Pakistan skipper Salman Ali Agha was welcomed to the crease with an excellent bouncer by Archer, who followed it up with another good delivery swinging away from the batsman on the off side.

Archer is balling at a good pace and is generating swing too.

Sahibzada, however, threw caution to the wind and attempted to swing at everything. The second last delivery fetched a boundary off a thick edge, while the last met the same fate on the leg side, narrowly missing the fielder’s outstretched arms.
