ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Development Company Ltd (OGDCL) has secured complete Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) of a major field and signed contract for upgrade of another field.

Hong Kong HuiHua Global Corporation Ltd (HHGTL), a wholly owned subsidiary of China Oil HBP Science and Technology Ltd (HBP), has successfully completed the Dakhni Front End Compression Project for OGDCL to upgrade existing facilities in Pakistan’s upstream energy sector.

Executed in collaboration with MHAA Corporation and in joint venture with Etimaad Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd, with ILF serving as the engineering consultant, the FEED was delivered within the stipulated time-frame and in full compliance with OGDCL’s technical and contractual requirements, a press release said.

The successful completion of the Dakhni project underscores HHGTL’s proven capability to execute complex front-end compression projects with precision, speed, and uncompromising quality.

Meanwhile, the OGDCL also announced that it signed a crucial contract with SNF S.A., a French specialty chemical company and world leader in polyacrylamide production, for the installation and operation of advanced Water Injection Systems (WIS) at its Kunnar and Pasakhi oil fields located in Hyderabad district, Sindh.
