SWABI: Three people, including a man and his son, were killed when assailants opened fire at a shop here on Saturday, the police said.

Officials at the city police station said some attackers opened indiscriminate fire on Noorul Amin, the owner of a motorcycle shop located in Mall Lar area Swabi Khas.

As a result, Amin, a resident of Swabi Khas, died on the spot, while his guests, Syed Ali Shah and his son, Uzair Ali Shah, were seriously injured. They also succumbed to their injuries while being shifted to hospital.

Relatives said Uzair Ali had married three weeks ago.

The city police registered an FIR against four accused, including Ismail Khan, Ibrahim Khan, Asif Khan and Arif Khan. They said that the cause of the incident was stated to be an old enmity between the shop owner and the attackers.
