KARACHI, June 16: Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Finance M A Jalil has criticised the performance of the Sindh Education Foundation. He made these remarks during a post-budget press conference here on Friday. The adviser, who had remained the education minister of Sindh, pointed out that the SEF was set up some 12 years ago with the mandate of promoting education with public-private partnership.

He was, however, of the view that this could not be done and that the SEF could not meet its objectives.

Jalil said he had pointed this out to the Chief Minister recently and he had stated that attention should be paid to this.—APP
