LAKKI MARWAT: A minor son of a policeman was freed from the captivity of terrorists here the other day.

An official source said that terrorists had abducted Jawad, 11, son of constable Ikramullah, from Manjiwala area when he was on way to his home from school.

He said that the abductors had shifted him to the nearby forest. He said that after the abduction of the boy, police swung into action and chased the kidnappers with the help of local residents.

“The terrorists sensed danger from law enforcers and in order to avoid being captured or killed, they released the kidnapped boy in the forest and disappeared,” he said.

The source said the police shifted the boy in unconscious condition to the hospital where he is stated to be stable.
