Netravalkar began the over with a no ball, giving Pakistan a free hit, but the Green Shirt failed to take advantage of it.

Nawaz gave the strike to Shadab Khan — who joined him after Sahibzada’s dismissal — taking a single off the third delivery.

The USA made an appeal for an LBW on the over’s fourth delivery, but the umpire did not raise his finger and a review also did not help.

Shadab then hit a much-needed six off the fifth delivery over the fielder on the mid-wicket.

Pakistan are 167-4 with just three more over left in the innings.
