KARACHI: The annual Nigaah Art Awards for the year 2026 were held at the Mohatta Palace Museum.

The following were the award recipients: Rabeya Jalil (abstract), Ishtiaq Sandhu (portraiture), Musawir Shabbir (printmaking), Ahsan Jamal (miniature), Ali Baba (3D sculpture), Zaheer Chaudhry (photography), Jamil Baloch (drawing), Kiran Waseem (emerging artist), Saulat Ajmal (curator), Sadia Pasha Kamran (art critic), Babar Moghal (still life), Masood A Khan (landscape), Faizan Riedinger (calligraphy) and Mobina Zuberi (figurative).

Nasreen Askari received the lifetime achievement award in recognition of her invaluable contributions to promoting art and her enduring impact on the preservation of Pakistan’s artistic heritage.
