KARACHI, June 13: Six ships carrying containers, general cargo and to load rice are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves modest where four ships, Shalamar, to unload crude oil, PAC Antlia to offload and load containers, Pacific Express to offload general cargo and Uthai Navee to load cement were berthed after the departure of as many.

The ships, which departed included Ever Guide, Maersk Alabama, Stolt Avance and Pacific Sun-2, while B.G. Ligthning, Tug Thunder, Pacific Express, Shalamar and Pac Antlia are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total tonnage of 66,465 tons comprising 8,892 tons of export tonnage and 57,573 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Rising One to load naptha, Orient Independence, Hyundai Stride and Satha Bhumwith conainers, Rizoun Trader, to load 13,500 tons of rice and Dina Queen to load general cargo.
