19 cellphones looted

GUJRANWALA, June 12: Dacoits looted a medicine distribution company office in the small industrial estate in broad daylight here on Monday. Four armed men forced their entry into the company office after injuring guard Suleman and held hostage its chief executive, Naveed Iqbal, and customers at gunpoint. They snatched Rs250,000 in cash and 19 cell phones from them and escaped.

The company chief executive told newsmen that he was very upset owing to dacoity incidents at his office time and again as six cases were already registered with the Model Town and Dhulley police. — Correspondent
