SIALKOT, June 12: Two alleged rapists chopped off two fingers of right hand of a married woman after raping her on Monday at her house for raising an alarm at Kotli Chumbwali, Daska.

Police said Tanveer and Naveed stormed into the house of labourer Naseer Ahmad and held his wife ‘S’ hostage.

Tanveer raped her while Naveed stood guard outside the room.

The woman tried to raise alarm on which Naveed attacked her with a sharp-edged chopper, cutting her two fingers.

In the meantime, her neighbours gathered there. The accused managed to escape.

She was admitted to a Daska Hospital.

Saddar Daska police have registered a case with no arrest.

Meanwhile, villagers have protested against the incident, demanding immediate arrest of the accused.

In another incident, labourer Muhammad Afzal’s minor son Ibrar Ali was criminally molested by one Aashir at Tarigari-Daska here on Monday.

Motra police have registered a case with no arrest.
