KARACHI: IT Olympaid

Published June 13, 2006

KARACHI, June 12: The University of Karachi has extended the date of the IT Olympaid 2006. This was announced by the IT Convener Prof (Dr) Nasiruddin Khan on Monday. He said that due to the heavy response of submission of the software, the management committee is highly involved in sorting of the entries for selection.

On the other hand, many of the applicants require some more time for the development of their own software.

In view of these facts, the management committee of the event has decided to extend the date for submission of the software. Therefore, the IT Olympiad would now be organised in the last week of July. –APP
