LAHORE: The Punjab Assembly is set to witness key legislative activity when the house resumes proceedings after a two-day break on Monday (today) as the government plans to secure approval of the Punjab Kite Flying Regulation Bill 2025.

According to the agenda issued for the second sitting of the 37th session of the assembly, the house will convene on Monday (today) at 2pm. During the proceedings, replies to written questions related to the housing department will be presented.

Lawmakers will also submit call attention notices, while five adjournment motions are scheduled to be taken up for discussion. The assembly will debate and seek approval of several important pieces of legislation, including the Police Order (Second Amendment) Bill and the Punjab Agriculture, Food and Drug Authority (Amendment) Bill.

Members of the Punjab Assembly are expected to raise matters of significant public importance during the sitting as the house moves forward with a packed legislative agenda.
