VEHARI, June 8: A motorcycle-rickshaw driver was crushed to death when Pakpattan-bound Farid Express hit the vehicle at an unmanned railway crossing near Danyal Town here on Thursday. The police handed over the body of deceased driver Arshad Mohana to his family.

At least 10 people have so far lost their lives at this particular unmanned railway crossing during the last two years, but authorities concerned have still not taken any measures to avert mishaps. — Correspondent
