KARACHI, June 8: Six ships carrying chemicals, containers and to load ethanol are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five vessels, Guan He Kou to unload and load general cargo, Oriental Tulip, to offload chemicals, Hyundai Future, Kota Waruna and Marcalabria to unload and load containers were berthed after the departure of five.

The ships, which departed included APL Jeddah, Patton-1, Thor Falcon, Tug Captain Machalles and Rainbow Spring, while Amar, D.D.Vigor, Oriental Tuli, Hyundai Future, Kota Waruna, Marcalabria and Mearsk Cloud are due to sail out on Friday.

A total tonnage of 82,467 tons comprising 18,660 tons of export cargo including 3,484 tons of rice and 63,807 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Sunniva, to load ethanol, Al-Marwah, Golden Express, with chemicals, Iran Shahryar and Global Prince, with containers and Kardaran Star, with steel cargo.
