Woman commits suicide

KHAIRPUR, June 6: A young woman committed suicide by taking pesticides in her home in Paryo Mari village on Tuesday. She was identified as Rukhsana, 25, wife of Abdul Ghaffar Khaskheli.

The reason behind the suicide is said to be domestic problem.

The body was handed over to relatives after autopsy from the Faiz Ganj rural health centre.

FREED: On the directives of district and sessions judge, Raid Commissioner Shafi Mohammad Siddiqui raided A-section police station on Tuesday.

He found detained Idrees Maitlo who was in police custody for the last six days.

Imdad Maitlo had filed an application before the district and sessions judge who ordered the raid. Idrees was released.

NAZIM: District Nazim Niaz Shah distributed cheques amounting to Rs300,000 among press clubs of the district here on Monday. The district nazim announced that in the next budget Rs1 million would be allocated for press clubs.
