PESHAWAR: Pesco board meeting

PESHAWAR, June 5: Wing Commander (Retd) Jamshed Saval, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pesco, presided over a meeting at Wapda House here on Monday to review the opening of an Escrow account.

The board’s member, Abdul Qadeer, told the meeting that Wapda was promoting corporate culture and had decided to give financial autonomy to its power distribution companies from July 1.

He said that the government had directed the companies, including the Pesco, to open the Escrow accounts.—- APP
