KARACHI: 49 talukas get Rs145m

KARACHI, June 4: Sindh Local Government Adviser Waseem Akhtar on Saturday said the present government was extending equal cooperation to all the talukas of Sindh, no matter which political party had its influence there.

“Wherever technical services are required or funds are needed, the same are being provided without any discrimination so that taluka and union council nazims could take decisions at grassroots level and utilise their funds properly,” he said.

He was speaking at a ceremony held for distribution of Rs145 million checques among 49 talukas of Sindh under the Annual Sector Plan and the SDSSP.
