I love it when a simple handmade piece turns into something so beautiful that it feels worthy of being displayed for everyone to see. Crafting has that special magic — you start with a few ordinary things, and by the end, you’ve created something that makes you smile every time you look at it.

This project is one of those little joys for me! It’s small, simple and absolutely adorable — a tiny hanging vase that adds instant charm to any corner of your room. The best part is, it’s made using just a few easy-to-find materials.

So today, I’m sharing it with you, and I hope making it brings you as much happiness as it brought to me.

Directions:

  1. The vase hangs within a triangular structure made of sticks. For that, cut three small sticks, each about 5 inches long, and three longer ones, around 8 inches; see pictures 2 and 3.

  2. Place the small sticks in a triangular shape and glue them carefully; picture 4.

  3. With the help of an adult, glue the three long sticks upright to form a standing triangle on the base you just made; see picture 5.

  4. Paint the entire structure black; picture 6.

  5. Take the string and wrap it twice around the mouth of the jar to secure it, keeping both ends loose on each side; see pictures 7 and 8.

  6. Place some artificial grass or bits of green paper inside the jar; picture 9.

  7. Tie the loose ends of the string tightly at the top centre of the structure to hang the jar; picture 10.

  8. Insert and glue the artificial flowers inside the jar, picture 11.

This cute vase is ready!
