KARACHI, Oct 17: Karachi University has announced the schedule of Annual Examinations 2001for Bachelor of Arts (B.A ) Pass, Part-I&II, B.O.L and Improvement of Division, for external as well as and regular candidates.

Making an announcement in this regard, An official of KU Examinations Department told PPI here Wednesday that B.A Part-I&II Annual Examinations 2001, taken by both the external and regular candidates would commence from Nov. 5, 2001 and would be completed in three phases.

During the first phase, B.A examinations for both external and regular candidates would commence from Nov. 5, 2001 in the evening from 2:00 Pm to 5:00 Pm while in the second phase, timings for both these examinations would be changed from Nov. 16, 2001 and exams would be held in the morning from 10:00 Am to 1:00 Pm, till Dec. 3, 2001, he informed.

In the third and last phase of exams, remaining papers of B.A Part-I&II, External and Regular examinations would be held at Centralized Examinations Centers from Dec. 4, 2001 to Dec. 15, 2001 in the morning from 10: 00 Am to 1:00 Pm. For male candidates, Centralized Examinations Center has been established at KU’s Department of Mass Communication, and for female candidates,the center is at Liaquat Ali Khan College of Home Economis, Stadium Road, Karachi, he further informed.

He revealed that KU is going to announce the examination schedule for B.Sc (Part-I&II) Annual Examinations 2001, which are likely to commence from Nov.10, 2001 while B.Com (Part-I&II) Annual Examinations would be held fron Dec. 22, 2001, after the holy month of Ramzan. A formal notification regarding examination schedule for both B.Sc and B.Com would be issued shortly, he added.

KU Examinations Department would also allow a last chance for registration and submission of exams forms and fee for B.A (Part-I&II) to candidates willing to appear in both external and regular exams from Oct. 25 to 30, 2001, he maintained.—PPI
