All-round display by Zaman

KARACHI, June 1: A superb all-round performance by Mohammad Zaman guided Pak National Grammar School to a 21-run victory over Strong Base School in the PCB National Inter-school Karachi region cricket tournament on Wednesday.

Zaman remained top-scorer with 42 as Pak National made 157. Later he picked up four for 25 with his slow left-armers as Strong Base managed 136 in reply.

WHITEHOUSE 112 in 33 overs (Zainul Abedin 36, Abdul Jabbar 32; Sohaib Khan 3-23, Talha Shafi 3-28).

Okhai Memon School beat Nasra School Saddar by 208 runs at KCCA Stadium.

OKHAI MEMON 287 in 39.5 overs (Majid Khan 75, Yawar Hayat 56; Irfan Afridi 5-55, Salahuddin 3-48);

NASRA SCHOOL SADDAR 79 in 29 overs (Irfan Afridi 21; Mohammad Akhtar 4-17, Asghar Ali 2-18).Young Scholar School beat GBSS Shams by seven wickets at UBL Sports Complex.

GBSS SHAMS 125 in 32.1 overs (Yaqoob Aziz 35, Zafar Abdullah 29; Umar Bahadur 6-35, Mohammad Nazir 2-4); YOUNG SCHOLAR 126-3 in 15.3 overs (Akbar Khan 58, Mohammad Adeeb 29; Mohammad Junaid 2-20).

Rab Nawaz School beat Nasra School Korangi by nine wickets at Landhi Gymkhana Ground.

NASRA SCHOOL KORANGI 70 in 28.2 overs (Zohaib Shera 5-19, Salman Khalid 4-25); RAB NAWAZ SCHOOL 71-1 in 11.2 overs (Mohammad Waqas 45, Wasim Ahmed 21 not out).
