PESHAWAR, June 1: The Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam has arranged a ceremony to wed 150 couples at Batal, an earthquake-hit area in the Konsh Valley in Mansehra district, a press statement said.

JUI chief and Leader of the opposition in the National Assembly Mualana Fazlur Rehman, general secretary of the party Senator Abdul Ghafoor Haidri, Senator Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro, Senator Maulana Gul Naseeb and scholars from the Jamia Banori Town, Karachi, would attended the ceremony.

Maulana Nasir Mehmood is organising the programme.
