HYDERABAD, May 31: Journalist unions, politicians and leaders of civil bodies have condemned the killing of TV cameraman Munir Sangi in Larkana.

The Hyderabad Union of Journalists and Press Photographers Association staged a demonstration in front of the press club on Wednesday.

They raised slogans demanding arrest of the murderers of Sangi and an end to the Jagirdari system and called for a judicial inquiry into the incident.

Awami Tehrik chief Rasool Bux Palijo, Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party chairman Dr Qadir Magsi and Sindh National Party chairman Amir Bhambhro condemning the killing said tribal wars should be brought to an end by adopting strict measures.

Sindh Paramedical Staff Welfare Association leaders Abdul Latif Otho, Nazar Ahmed Rajpar, Naraindas and others demanded immediate arrest of murderers of Munir Sangi.

DADU: Journalists of Dadu, Johi, Khairpur Nathan Shah, Mehar, Bhan Syedabad and Sehwan towns staged protest demonstrations against the murder of Munir Sangi, cameramen of KTN on Wednesday. They demanded a judicial inquiry into the incident and arrest of the murderers.
