FAISALABAD, May 31: Five passengers, including a constable, were killed while another six sustained serious wounds when a bus overturned near Jaranwala, some 45kms from here on Wednesday.
The bus that left Tandlianwala for Jaranwala with over 50 passengers met accident owing to high speed. As a result, constable Noor Ahmed, Muhammad Yousaf, Danish and Jawed died instantly while Sultan perished on the way to hospital. While Ahmed Ali, Sher Ali, Khalid Mehmood, Tufail Ahmed, Sakhawat and Alam Sher suffered serious injuries. They were admitted to the Jaranwala THQ Hospital.
