The health ministry in Gaza has said that the death toll from Israel’s war on Gaza has reached 67,869, according to AFP.
“The total toll of the Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, has risen to 67,869 martyrs,” the ministry said, as it continued recovering the bodies of those killed during the offensive.
US President Donald Trump declared Israel’s war on Gaza over after a ceasefire he brokered came into effect on Friday at 9am GMT (2pm PKT).
