BAJAUR, Feb 7: Twelve members of law-enforcement agencies and 10 traders were injured during a clash on Thursday after the traders tried to stop Wapda men from installing power meters in their area.

The clash took place in Nawagi Trade Centre when the traders resisted the power meter installation exercise of Wapda staff which were assisted by the law-enforcement agencies.

The political administration has arrested 15 tribal elders and 12 shopkeepers under the 40 Frontier Crime Regulation. The traders shut down their shops in protest against the government action and vowed to continue the shutdown till the matter was resolved.
