KARACHI, May 30: Five vessels carrying containers and DAP fertiliser are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity a the wharves was relatively slow where three ships, Bunga Delima, to unload and load containers, Rainbow Spring, to offload sugar and Asdrubal, to unload oil.

Four ships, Kota Tampaanm Dong He, Maersk Alabama and Al-Marwah departed on Tuesday, while Swat, Sea Star, Seloon, Kota Merdes, Al-Fatah, Asdrubal, and APL Dalian

are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total tonnage of 93,803 tons comprising 17,668 tons of export cargo including 5,083 tons of rice and 76,185 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Kota Wijaya, Hyundai Advance, Inaba and Y.M. Energy, with containers and B.India, with 33,399 tons of DAP fertiliser.
