KARACHI: Two men were gunned down over a property dispute in a village along Hub River Road on Thursday, according to police.

Moachko police said that Shahid Saeed, 45, and Jawed Sher, 50, were shot dead in Haji Khosa Goth near Shaheed Benazir School.

They said a suspect, Rafay and his three/four associates riding motorcycles arrived at the place at about 1:40pm and opened fire on the victims, who were sitting outside a house. Shahid and Javed sustained bullet injuries and were shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi, where they died during treatment, they added.

The police said the victims and the suspects had a dispute over a property within the area and they used to often quarrel over the matter.

Separately, a man, Noorullah, 42, was shot dead by unknown suspects at KPT Ground, Keamari, on Thursday evening.

The Jackson police believed the attack was carried out over some personal enmity.

The body was shifted to the CHK for legal formalities.
