Railway land retrieved

RAHIM YAR KHAN: The Pakistan Railways Sukkur Division conducted a two-day grand operation against encroachments on railway land in Khanpur.

Monitored by PR Sukkur Divisional Engineer (DE) Khadam Hussain Bhinbro, PR team vacated 12.47 Kanal land worth Rs 387 million.

Illegal structures had been built near main railway line between Saddar bazar and Bagho Bahar railway level crossings.

According to PR sources, the maximum illegal encroachments were in Rahim Yar Khan, Sadiqabad and Khanpur cities in the Punjab area falling in Sukkur Railway Division.
