Floodlights at Iqbal Stadium

Published May 27, 2006

FAISALABAD, May 26: The Rs 75 million project of installing floodlights in Iqbal Stadium has been completed. A spokesman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said six poles of 50 feet height have been erected around the stadium, with 70 lights on each pole.

Power for the floodlights will be obtained from a direct line from the grid station to avoid disruption of electricity supply.

Meanwhile, the PCB has contacted FESCO to obtain a separate power supply line for these lights.—APP
