PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has called on the federal government to declare an “agriculture emergency” to help farmers affected by the floods.

“In Punjab, the most affected by these floods are the farmers and the agriculture sector…we appeal to the prime minister and provincial government to declare an ‘agriculture emergency’,” Bilawal said.

We call upon them to provide agricultural inputs and loans to help the farmers during this crisis.
