Punjab PDMA DG Irfan Ali Kathia has said the province is battling the biggest flood in its history.

Addressing a press conference, he said more rain was predicted for the next two days.

The DG said that 3,100 villages and 2,900 hamlets have been affected in Punjab and over 2.4 million people have been affected by the floods with 390 camps and tent cities set up for relief.

He added that more than 900,000 people have been relocated to safer places along with over 600,000 animals.
