The NDMA has warned of the possibility of heavy monsoon rains in Islamabad and various districts of Punjab from September 1 to 3, which could lead to an increased likelihood of flooding in the affected areas.
“In Murree, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Attock, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala and Hafizabad, the flood situation may worsen due to heavy rainfall,” the authority wrote in a post on X.
