The Lahore deputy commissioner has issued a notification saying that all schools, barring those which are located in flood-affected areas, would reopen tomorrow as announced earlier by the Punjab government.

“All schools in District Lahore shall reopen on 1st September, 2025, except the following institutions which are located in flood-affected areas or are presently being utilised as Flood Relief Camps,” said the notification, seen by Dawn.com.

It listed 45 schools as exceptions.
