There is a situation of urban flooding in Peshawar and its adjoining areas yesterday due to heavy rains, according to a statement from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa PDMA.
It said many areas of the city were submerged.
PDMA DG Asfandyar Khattak visited the affected areas and oversaw water drainage and rescue operations.
The PDMA said that 50 dewatering pumps were installed at different locations.
