Sindh Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah has visited the provincial Flood Control Room, where he was briefed on the situation by officials.
“The flood surge will pass through Guddu on September 3,” the chief secretary was informed.
He was further told that the PDMA has prepared 9,950 first aid kits and 68 hospital tents, while the health department has sped up the distribution of medicines, including those to deal with snake bites.
