Punjab Rescue Spokesperson Farooq Ahmed has said that Rescue 1122 evacuated 17 people from two separate places near the Ravi River.
He stated that the rescue teams safely evacuated 11 people trapped in the floodwaters of Manga Mandi, who were taken to a safe place. In another statement, he said that six people were rescued from the floodwaters on Malipura Bund Road.
