Authorities have breached the Riwaz bridge to protect Jhang from flooding as floodwater is set to pass through the city, according to Relief Commissioner Punjab Nabil Javed.
“People living adjacent to the river have been evacuated,” he said, adding that the district administration remains on high alert.
