The NDMA reports that 14 people have been killed and four others injured across the country today, according to their Monsoon Situation Report.

Of those killed in the past 24 hours, 13 were killed in Punjab, while one died in AJK. Three of the injured hailed from KP, while one person was injured in Punjab. 92.9 per cent of the fatalities were caused by flash flooding, with the rest caused by roof collapses.

Since June 26, 819 people have been killed and 1,111 have been injured during the monsoon season. 53.2pc of these fatalities were caused by flash flooding
