Six people were rescued from areas within Faisalabad district that are adjacent to the Ravi River, according to a statement from Rescue 1122.

The statement read that two people had been rescued from Jamra, while four others were rescued from Mauza Malang.

“The rescued people and their valuables were shifted to safe locations,” Rescue 1122 said.
