Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that her government will compensate for the damage that the people of Punjab have suffered due to recent floods.

Speaking to the media while visiting the flood hit areas, she said, “Whatever loss has been incurred, whether it is loss of life, infrastructural damage, livestock or crops, the Punjab govt will compensate for it.”

She vowed to stand with the people of Punjab “in this difficult time”.
