The meeting, attended by PML, PPP and PML-F MPAs, was held at the CM’s House, according to a statement issued here on Sunday. The legislators expressed their confidence in the leadership of the chief minister and supported the stand adopted by him on the basic issues and problems of the province.

Provincial ministers Sadruddin Shah Rashdi, Mir Manzoor Panhwar, Nadir Akmal Leghari, Irfanullah Khan Marwat, Dr Hamida Khuhro, Iftikhar Chaudhry, Dr Sohrab Sarki and Dr Saeeda Malik, besides a large number of MPAs, including Sadaqat Jatoi, Ehsan Jatoi and Begum Gulzar Unnar, were present.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Arbab Rahim pledged that nothing would be done that was against the interest of Sindh.

Talking to media men, he said: “Members of the Pakistan People's Party should also cooperate with us as long as we are working in the interest of Sindh, and should back out only when they find us on the wrong path,” he remarked.—APP
