Man dies, woman injured in bike, car collision

LAHORE: A young man died and a woman injured critically in a bike-car collision at Multan Road here on Thursday.

The accident took place near Shahpur Kanjaran where a speeding car reportedly ran over the bike, leaving an unknown man and a woman badly injured.

A spokesperson for the Rescue 1122 said the injured persons were immediately shifted to the Jinnah Hospital where the young man, still to be identified, breathed his last while woman Rukhsana was under treatment.

Further investigating is underway.
