A group of Israeli settlers have waged an attack on the Palestinian village of Taybeh — home to 1,300 mostly Christians in the occupied West Bank — according to the Palestinian Authority.

During the attack, the settlers set Palestinian vehicles ablaze and spray-painted “racist threats in Hebrew on homes and property”, the Ramallah-based authority wrote on X.

A Taybeh resident told AFP news agency the attack took place around 2am (4am PKT), with at least two vehicles burned.

The Palestinian Authority’s foreign ministry condemned the attack, calling it “settler terrorism”.
