The UN agency for Palestinian refugees has said that its staff was working under “impossible and inhumane conditions” in Gaza amid Israel’s blockade of aid.
“UNRWA teams continue to operate across Gaza — collecting rubbish, disinfecting shelters, and providing clean water,” it said on X.
UNRWA wrote, “Displacement, extreme heat, and the spread of diseases make this work even more critical. Our staff are starving and hungry, but they continue to work to serve their communities.”
