US President Donald Trump thanked his Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, as he hinted that Gaza ceasefire negotiations are going well, ahead of a meeting with Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani on Wednesday, Al Jazeera reports.
“We have some good news on Gaza and good news on a couple of things that we’re working on at a very high level, but you’ve done a fantastic job,” Trump said to Witkoff during a White House bill signing event.
