The group Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has shared that their operations in southern Gaza at two sites have come to a halt as Israel intensifies its offensive in the Palestinian enclave.

In a post on X, MSF said that Israel’s latest offensive on Gaza in Khan Younis on Thursday morning “has seriously impacted operations at two facilities MSF operates in.”

“MSF teams had to suspend activities and evacuate Al Attar clinic today as Israeli tanks and gunfire approached as close as 100 metres away,” the MSF said.

The group added that “the military incursion also meant that ambulance movements to Nasser hospital were stopped.”

“The health system here has collapsed; there’s no hospital to go to,” said MSF’s Dr Iman Abo Shawish.
