50 police officers promoted to BS-20, 21

ISLAMABAD: The Central Se­­lection Board (CSB) of the Estab­lishment Division on Wednesday announced the promotion of senior officers of Police Service of Pa­­k­­istan (PSP) to BS-20 and BS-21.

According to a notification, 17 officers have been promoted to BS-21. These include officers from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Punjab, Sindh, National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Intelligence Bureau (IB), and National Highway and Motorways Police (NH&MP).

The promoted officers are: Saad Akhtar (NH&MP), Zaeem Iqbal Sheikh (FIA), Muhammad Tariq Chohan (Punjab), Khuram Shakoor (Punjab), Shahzada Sul­tan (Punjab), Waqar Ahmed Cho­han (NAB), Azad Khan (IB; tra­nsferred to Balochistan), retired Flt. Lt. Waseem Ahmed Khan (Pun­jab), Zulfiqar Larik (Sindh), Sharjil Karim Kharal (Sindh), Shakeel Ahmad Durrani (FIA), Iqbal Dara Dayo (Sindh), Muham­mad Tahir (FIA; transferred to KP), Abbas Ahsan (FIA; trans­ferred to KP), Syed Khurram Ali (Punjab), Humayun Bashir Tarar (Establishment Division) (Trans­ferred to Punjab) and Muhammad Jafer (FIA).

Thirty-three officers have been promoted to BS-20. Among them are Muhammad Fawad-ud-Din Riaz Qureshi, Muhammad Ali Neko­ka­­ra, retired Lt Imran Shaukat, Fai­sal Bashir Memon (Sindh), Junaid Ahmed, Hassan Asad Alvi, Aet­zaz Ahmed Goraya, Asmatullah, Farrukh Ali, Qasim Ali, Sohail Ahmed Sheikh, Agha Tahir Alauddin, Mian Saeed Ahmed, Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera, Umer Riaz, Shiraz Nazeer, Mohammad Haroon Joya, Asad Sarfraz Khan, retired Capt Mohammad Ali Zia, Najeeb ur Rehman Bugvi, Mohammad Umar Farooq Salamat, Shahabzada Bilal Omer, Amir Abdullah Khan Niazi, Irfanullah Khan, Mustafa Hameed Malik, Wazir Khan Nasir, Barkat Hussain Khosa, Imran Shahid, Mohammad Quraish Khan, Sajjad Khan, Shaukat Ali Khaitan, Shad Ibne Masih, Syed Mohammad Abbas Rizvi.
