Tunisian President Kais Saied, in a letter to the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, has reiterated Tunisia’s firm stance in support of the Palestinian people, Wafa reports.

In the letter, which was delivered today by the Tunisian ambassador, Saied expressed his appreciation for the Palestinian leadership’s gesture in awarding the “Knight of Palestine Medal” to the late Tunisian student, Fares Khaled, who passed away while raising the Palestinian flag at his university campus.

He stressed that this honor reflects the unity of purpose and destiny between Tunisia and Palestine.

“the central cause of the Arab nation”

He further affirmed Tunisia’s “unwavering support for the Palestinian people in their heroic struggle to defend their inalienable rights, sacred sites, and land”, the report adds.
