Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio have discussed the situation in the Middle East during a telephone call, APP reports.

The situation in the Middle East, particularly the Iran-Israel crisis, was discussed, and PM Shehbaz “emphasised the need to find a peaceful resolution to this grave crisis through dialogue and diplomacy”.

He added that Pakistan is ready to play a constructive role in any peace effort as the situation “was deeply worrying, not only for the region, but for the entire world”.
