KARACHI, May 10: Four ships including S Kala loaded with 26,620 tons of imported cement are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Ibn Basam to load rice, Kota Tabah, cma cgm Simba, APL Jeddah and Kota Wangsa to unload and load containers were berthed after the departure of four.

The ships, which departed included MOL Asamte, Tai He, Maersk Albama, and cma cgm Simba , while Zara-3, APL Jeddah, Global Express, Kota Tabah, Kota Wangsa, An Ning Jiang, and Hyundai Stride are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was brisk where a total volume of 88,663 tons comprising 16,450 tons of export cargo, including 3,109 tons of rice, and 72,217 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Liberty Glory, with 30,000 tons of soyabean meal, Inaba, Calving P Titus, with container and S Kala, with cement.
